Privacy policy — Tissyo Jury
Jury processes teaching data on the device and may synchronise it through the user’s private iCloud account.
This product-specific policy complements the Tissyo website legal notice and trust page. It does not merge the distinct data flows of other Tissyo applications.
1. Scope and controller
Vincent Mary, sole trader (France). Privacy contact: confidentialite@tissyo.com.
2. Data concerned
The application may process: students, classes, rubrics, assessments, scores, comments, attendance, photos, documents and assessment-related recordings. Jury processes teaching data on the device and may synchronise it through the user’s private iCloud account.
3. Purposes and legal bases
The data is used to provide the features requested by the user, save their work, synchronise it when they enable that option, provide support, secure the service and manage purchases. Performance of the requested service or contract is the main basis. Consent applies to optional analytics, product news and permissions where required. Security and service-improvement measurements may rely on legitimate interest only when compatible with user rights.
4. Storage, transit and recipients
- Local storage in SwiftData.
- Optional synchronisation through the user’s private iCloud account and CloudKit.
- Collaboration may use a temporary CloudKit snapshot containing scores, notes and state; it is deleted when stopped and becomes stale after about three hours.
- Apple processes App Store purchases.
Tissyo does not sell personal data. Recipients are limited to the user, people to whom they deliberately share content, the publisher when support is requested, and the providers named above for the relevant feature.
5. International transfers
Apple, GitHub, Brevo or other named providers may operate internationally. Their contractual safeguards and applicable privacy terms govern any transfer. PostHog is configured for its European Union region where stated.
6. Retention and deletion
Local and iCloud data remain until deleted by the user or the administrator of their Apple environment. Collaboration snapshots are temporary. Support and operational retention must follow the current production register.
7. Children and teaching data
The application can be used in an educational setting. The organisation using it must define its lawful framework, inform learners and guardians where required, minimise identifiers and avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information.
8. Security
Access is limited by the device, operating-system permissions and the user’s account. Network communications use encrypted transport where a service is needed. No system is risk-free; users should protect their device, account and exported files.
9. Your rights
Depending on the applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and withdraw consent at any time. First use the deletion and privacy controls available in the application, then contact the address above. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL or your competent supervisory authority.
10. Changes
This policy may change when the application, providers or legal requirements change. The date and material changes will be stated on this page.
