Tissyo Interact help

Tissyo Interact on Windows PC

Install the app, check the requirements, choose the network mode and help participants join your session from a Windows PC.

You can start from a blank page or import a PDF, a PowerPoint presentation (.pptx), a Markdown or text file, or a .snapinteract archive. 15 activity formats are available.

1. Install from the Microsoft Store

Tissyo Interact for Windows is installed only from the Microsoft Store, for free:

  1. Open the Tissyo Interact page on the Microsoft Store (or search for “Tissyo Interact” in the Microsoft Store app);
  2. Click “Install” (or “Get”);
  3. Launch the app from the Start menu.

It requires Windows 10 (version 1809) or later, on an x64 or ARM64 processor. With your Microsoft account, you can install it on up to 10 Windows devices.

On a PC managed by a school or company, the Microsoft Store is sometimes blocked. In that case, give your IT team the app’s Microsoft Store ID: 9NP2Z6GDRZT0. They can allow it or deploy it to your computer. We don’t offer a downloadable installer outside the Store.

2. System requirements

To run sessions with Tissyo Interact on a PC, you need:

  1. Windows 10 version 1809 or later (including Windows 11), on an x64 or ARM64 PC;
  2. the app installed from the Microsoft Store (about 136 MB to download);
  3. an Internet connection for live sessions with participants;
  4. optionally, a second screen or projector for projection.

Your participants don’t install anything: a phone or computer with a browser is enough.

Windows versions older than Windows 10 version 1809 are not supported. To check your version: press Windows + R, type “winver”, then press Enter.

Free plan and Pro

Pro on Windows PC: coming soon. In the meantime, the app’s “Get Pro” button can’t complete a purchase yet. The 8 free activities per month remain available.

3. Network

By default, the app uses our Internet relay (go.tissyo.com): your participants join the session from their browser by scanning the QR code shown, from any network. A local network mode is also available in the app settings.

Before each session on a new network, scan the QR code with your own phone and send a test answer.

If your IT team filters traffic, email us at contact@tissyo.com: we will send them the exact list of addresses and ports to allow.

4. Participants can’t join

  1. Make sure the PC is online, then scan the QR code with your own phone and send a test answer.
  2. Participants can only answer the activity that is currently open: if their page says the activity is closed or that nothing is needed, open the activity from the app.
  3. If a participant sees “The answer was not sent. Try again.”, their answer did not arrive (connection lost or unstable): they just need to check their connection and tap the send button again.
  4. If the app says the free limit has been reached, it isn’t a network issue: the free plan’s monthly limit has been reached (8 activities per month).
  5. For file submissions, stay within the maximum size shown on the participant’s page.

If the problem persists, tell us your Windows version, the type of network (school Wi-Fi, hotspot…) and the exact message shown on the participant’s phone, without any password or participant data.

What does “Move to the next sequence?” mean?

This reminder appears when you click “Next step” while the activity has received responses but its results haven’t been projected yet. “Show results” projects them and you stay on the activity; “Move on without showing” goes straight to the next step. The “Don’t ask me again” checkbox turns the reminder off. Until you choose, nothing changes for participants, and answers already sent stay saved.
